John Lee

John and his wife have lived in New Brighton for 11 years and in Calgary for over 46 years. He retired from the Alberta Government in 2022 after 42 years of service, including leadership roles as a supervisor, trainer, and life coach. A long-time community volunteer, he has served on the NBCA Board for the past four years and is passionate about putting people first and building a strong, welcoming and safe community where everyone can thrive.

Originally from England, Nathan met his wife Meagan here in Calgary and consequently moved over to Canada in 2009. They have lived in the community for over seven years and have four children who all attend schools in New Brighton. If you’re an early bird like he is, you may bump into him walking his dog around the pond each morning. On a windy day, you’ll see him out flying his kite. Nathan works in digital communications.

Sanu is a supply and operations professional and content creator who is passionate about strengthening communities and creating meaningful impact. A New Brighton resident for the past four years, she values connection, collaboration, and creating inclusive spaces where people feel supported. Sanu brings a solutions-focused mindset, creativity, and a strong commitment to community involvement, and is dedicated to fostering positive relationships and contributing to a vibrant and welcoming neighbourhood.

Kylian is a proud community advocate and REALTOR® who is passionate about helping people feel connected and supported in the neighbourhood they call home. With a people-first approach and a strong belief in the value of community, Kylian brings warmth, collaboration, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact through his role on the Board. He is committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming, and vibrant community for residents of all ages.
